I began my career as a professional Miami wedding photographer around 2014, starting out by assisting top wedding photographers in South Florida as an assistant second shooter while learning the ropes. I enjoyed the experiences of photographing weddings so much that I knew wedding photography was something I wanted to pursue professionally.
As my Miami wedding photography business began to blossom in South Florida including Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and the Florida Keys too, I broadened my sights even beyond. As a destination wedding photographer based in Miami, I’ve had the opportunity to photograph weddings as far as Jamaica, San Francisco, and even Amsterdam. It goes without saying, I’m a girl who’s not afraid to jump on a plane and go!
While wedding photography has taken me around the world and back, I’m still a South Florida girl at heart. And of all the wedding destinations I’ve photographed around the world, Miami is by far my favorite city.
Miami is my favorite city to photograph weddings because we are such a melting pot of culture. As a woman wedding photographer, a black wedding photographer in Miami, who happens to be of Jamaican descent, I appreciate the vibrancy of the Caribbean, Latin, African, American, Asian and Europe cultures that make South Florida so diverse and unique.
