Key West, Islamorada, Key Largo – Here are some incredible places to get married in The Keys!
Best wedding locations for stellar views, and those sunset photos you must have.
As a Florida Keys Wedding Photographer, I have had the opportunity to photograph numerous venues in and around Florida’s famously magnificent Keys. From the southernmost point of possibly the most popular Key; Key West, all the way up to North Key Largo, and beyond. This popular destination wedding haven has so much to offer. Additionally, not only is it an incredible choice for a wedding, it’s absolutely magical for brides from near and far alike.
There is something so intimate and cozy about having your loved ones gathered on a small private beach overlooking the ocean and a vibrant sunset sky. As a wedding photographer, it is my job to produce the most beautiful wedding photography for my couples. That’s hard not to do in The Florida Keys, although I have my favorite locations, it’s truly hard to narrow the list.
In The Florida Keys, sunset photos are a popular request. This is a request that honestly, never gets old.
Each venue is unique and has something all its own to offer.
Key Largo Lighthouse
Key Largo Lighthouse is a perfect destination wedding location for the bride and Groom who want a beautiful private venue with lots of opportunities to get creative and turn the space into whatever your heart desire. We have photographed countless events at this quaint location and absolutely love the staff there. On property is a private home which is perfect for the bride, groom, and bridal party to get ready right on site.
One, however, should note that The Key Largo Lighthouse, does not actually have a lighthouse on the property. I curiously asked one day. Where is the lighthouse? Apparently, the venue was once located on the other side of the key where there was a lighthouse. When they moved the location, they just kept the name. Lighthouse or not, however, it’s a lovely venue, and certainly one of my personal favorites.

Dream Bay Resort
Another private home located in located in Key Largo. One really nice benefit of Dream Bay Resort is that they actually have two, yes two home on the property. This is awesome because the bride and groom are both on site and never have to worry about accidentally seeing each other. Reception help here is often set up under a tent near the water and come with a wonderful night breeze to keep you and your guests cool during the reception dancing.
