A Destination Wedding in Key Largo
Tara and David’s Sunset Ceremony in The Florida Keys
The Bride and Groom
I’m excited to share Tara and David’s beautiful Dream Bay Key Largo Wedding with you today. I loved photographing this Dream Bay Resort Key Largo Wedding because it’s such stunning venue that also offers a more intimate feel for those brides that want to have a private beach wedding in the Florida Keys. Being a Miami and Key West Wedding Photographer, the beauty of The Keys never ceases to amaze me.

Tara and David got married on November 4th, 2017. Their destination Key Largo beach wedding was an emotional day, full of sentiment and special meaning. Browsing through their gallery, you’ll see that their happiness and love together really shines through in every single photo.
Tara, sweet southern blonde with the kindest eyes, was such a doll and super down to earth. She always seems to be smiling or laughing, and you would be hard-pressed to find a “mean bone” anywhere in her body. David is also a sweetheart and was the more outspoken of the two of them. Together, they beamed from ear to ear, and their genuine love and good nature were apparent to anyone who was at their wedding. (As well as seen easily in all the photos from their day!)
The Getting Ready
While getting ready for their truly dream wedding, fittingly at Dream Bay Resort, there were so many heartwarming moments. Especially in the bungalow of Tara and her bridesmaids. She cried happy tears when she caught her first glimpse of her reflection in the mirror when all the “pieces” of the puzzle were put together. Seeing the big picture of hair, makeup, dress, and accessories, sometimes unlocks a whirlwind of emotions for brides, and we loved documenting Tara’s emotion during this time in her life. Her mom shed happy tears of joy alongside her, as well as her best friend since childhood. After the three of them shared this special time together privately, Tara revealed herself to her other girlfriends and bridesmaids. They were all overcome by the sheer beauty and happiness radiating from her.
Photographing David and his friends was so much fun. They were all rambunctious and hysterical, and you could really see how much this group of guys meant to David, and how they all supported him 100% in his union with Tara. His grandfather was there and had lots of wisdom to share with his grandson on his wedding day.
The Sunset Wedding Ceremony
From that moment on, the happy tears, and laughter flowed freely throughout the room and would follow them for the remainder of the day’s festivities.
Tara and David had a large bridal party, 14 to be exact, as well as a larger attendance of about 100 guests that witnessed their Dream Bay Key Largo Wedding. Their ceremony was around sunset and was stunning. Tara cried during the ceremony, and we loved looking into their audience and seeing their family and friends dabbing their eyes alongside her.
After the ceremony, we took the bridal portraits at sunset and then headed to their outdoor reception inside a very pretty tent on the Dream Bay Key Largo Resort beach.
The lighting was absolutely perfect to pull off the light and airy photos Tara so badly desired.
The Wedding Reception
The wedding decor completed with oyster shells and ocean-inspired details.

We hope you enjoy this small preview of Tara and David’s Dream Bay Key Largo Wedding.
