Hollywood Beach Wedding Destination at the Doubletree Resort
Formally The Crowne Plaza Hollywood Beach, this bayside resort was the perfect setting for the nuptials of Julie Ann and Angelo. I’m thrilled to share their stunning images captures by our team, it was a true honor.
Angelo was the quintessential tough-guy but we loved watching him soften in front of us as soon as his sweet-tempered Julie Ann walked through the door to greet him in her beautiful wedding gown. He also had a gigantic soft spot in his heart for their dog, Beau, who acted as the “ring bearer” for their Doubletree Resort by Hilton Hollywood Beach Wedding ceremony.

The First Look
Angelo and Julie Ann decided to do a first look prior to their ceremony, which we adore. We love being able to document this special time for the couple, in a low key and intimate way, before being thrown in front of a large crowd. It also really allows us some special time to do portraits of the couple, without having your guests waiting around and getting anxious during the cocktail hour downtime. The Doubletree Resort by Hilton Hollywood Beach towers provided a gorgeous industrial backdrop on their private balcony, for their first look, and Angelo’s expression when he turned around and saw Julie Ann was so sweet and special and full of shock and awe for his new lifelong partner.
The Ceremony
Julie Ann’s sister was her maid of honor, and her niece acted as her flower girl. Their Doubletree Resort by Hilton Hollywood Beach Wedding was full of little-personalized details, such as their handmade nautical themed signs. Their Christian faith was also an important element in their wedding, and they requested their guests to highlight and write their favorite Bible verse in their special Bible that they will share together as a couple, forever.
